New Life Ministries

J.A.M. (Jesus and Me for Life) is an awesome, power-packed kid’s service held on Sunday mornings for children ages 4-12. A talented and anointed group of adults work together to make each service exciting and fun, yet filled with the presence of the Lord. Each Quarter the J.A.M. For Life crew creates a different “set” and teaches each lesson in accordance with the theme for the quarter. Wonderful things are happening with this children’s ministry and kids are learning the value of God’s word, while having fun at the same time!

The Drama Team at New Life Apostolic is a ministry that reaches out to everyone. The team meets once a month group-wide to plan dramas for the month. Each drama is unique and has its own message. The team has a variety of different dramas they do, including one-act plays, skits, sign language dramas, dramatic interpretations, stick ministry, mime, monologues and holiday musicals/dramas. Regardless of the drama or the people in the drama, the Lord never fails to move and speak through this unique ministry.

King’s Kids Choir
What a wonderful time our little ones have learning to sing praises unto Jesus! The King’s Kids Choir is for children ages 5-12 and these kids truly have fun with their songs. They practice once a month and always bring a smile when singing. The Bible has much to say about the little children and we know God adores their praise, from the smallest to the oldest!

J.O.Y. (Just Over Youth)
is comprised of all singles and married couples, aged 25-55. This is a very large and active group, one that can always be counted on for a good time of fun and fellowship. (Thus the acronym.) From Progressive Dinners to Valentine Banquets, J.O.Y. is a great way for adults of all ages to get to know each other. J.O.Y. loves to welcome new families and singles into the group and the Lord just keeps on blessing with new members every outing!

Lifetime Classes
Lifetime classes are held on Wednesday nights for children ages 4-12. A great group of teachers with a burden for teaching God’s children use this hour and a half to tell the children all about Jesus and his word. They get to play games and have fun while learning about Jesus. The kids love the individualized time with other kids their own age. They are always excited about Wednesday night “Sunday School.”

Servant's Heart
Servant’s Heart is a wonderful ministry for widows, single mothers, divorced ladies, ladies who are the only members of their immediate family in church, and others who need encouragement in their daily walk with God. This special group meets the first Thursday of each month and has a wonderful time of fun and fellowship, talking and sharing individual testimonies about the awesome things God has done in their lives.

The Acts 2:46 Group
This special program is a ministry that welcomes new families into New Life Church through fellowship with other families in the church. This ministry is a wonderful outreach for new comers as they enter the church and become a part of the many exciting things going on in God’s kingdom!

Athletic Program
The Athletic Program is a unique ministry that reaches out to those who are athletic-minded. New Life puts an A- Division team and a B-Division team in the local church softball league each year. Both teams have exceptional records in their individual divisions and the A-Team made the top four teams at State Playoffs in 2002. This outreach is a wonderful opportunity for church members, players and viewers alike, to fellowship in a fun and relaxed environment.

Technology Program
We have recently started utilizing some great outreach tools with our technology committee. Each service is professionally taped and recorded for anyone wishing to share a particular service or sermon with someone. We have an awesome team who work diligently in preparing and carrying out this wonderful outreach ministry.

Outreach Teams
The ministry of outreach covers a wide variety of areas in our church and congregation. Many saints are involved in the “Brother’s Keepers” program, where visitors are contacted on a periodic basis and encouraged to return and take part in the blessings of Christ.
A devoted group of saints are active in a bus ministry which allows children from around our local area to come to Sunday School each Sunday morning and Lifetime classes on Wednesday nights. There are so many young children who are hungry for knowledge about Jesus, but with no opportunity to come to church. This is a growing and active ministry that we are already seeing great things with and are excited about the future.
Many saints have expressed a desire to teach others God’s word and from that we have comprised a growing list of Bible Study Teams. These teams go to homes and meeting areas to meet with new comers who want to learn more about God and his truth. What a wonderful time in the Lord these teams have in this outreach ministry!
“Discipleship in Action” is a Wednesday night Bible study group for new comers who want a more in-depth study into the Bible. Those who go through this wonderful course receive certificates upon completion and walk away with so much insight and knowledge about the bible and God’s truth. It is a great enhancement for new saints in the kingdom of God!
